Installation Instructions
- Download the setup file below and run it
- Follow the instructions on the installation wizard to complete installation
- When finished, a new icon (PC Backup) will be installed to the system tray (near the clock) automatically and PC Backup will be launched automatically.
- Log on to the server using the login name and password provided
- If this is the first time you log on to the server, you will be guided through a New Backup Set wizard.
- Setup the encryption setting for your backup set (the default is to use your login password as your encryption key, so you do not need to remember a separate password when restoring your files)
- Select the files that you want to backup
- Setup the backup schedule
- Scheduled backup will run automatically if you leave your computer on and you will be prompted to do a backup when you Shutdown your PC.
- The start a backup, press the Backup button. It is best to start your initial backup overnight, when you have finished using your PC.
- Setup completed.
